Top QB of the year?
There were many great quarterbacks this year. The two rookies, Joe Flacco, and Matt Ryan were two of the best quarterbacks this year! They both were great, and led there teams to the playoffs! There were also many great veteran quarterback. Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Donovan McNabb, Phillip Rivers, and Drew Brees all did great this year to! But, I think the best quarterback this year was Drew Brees. He did not lead his team to the playoffs, or even get close to going, but he play like the star of the team! This year, Drew Brees threw for an amazing 5,o69 yards and 34 touchdowns! He had the most passing yards out of anybody in the NFL, and he almost broke the record for the most passing yards in a season! He did throw 17 interceptions, but with the 34 touchdowns, it doesn’t really make a difference how many int’s he threw! With the hurt Reggie Bush, Drew brees had to lead the team on his own. As you can see, the didn’t have a great season, but Brees definatley had one of the best season’s of his career.
Top Halfback of the year?
Many halfback’s this year had great season’s! Adrian Peterson,Brian Westbrook, Michael Turner, and Clinton Portis. After showing there talent this year in the regular season, my choice for halfback of the year would have to be Adrian Peterson. He led the Vikings to the playoffs, running many touchdown’s this year! He ran for 1,760 yards and 10 touchdowns! All tho they didn’t win the first game of the playoff’s, he did great in the game. He ran for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns. He tried to lead the Vikings to the second round, but he couldn’t do it all by himself. Obviously, Adrian Peterson wat the best halfback this year!
Top Wide Receiver of the year?
This year was definatley the year of the receiver’s. Lot’s of receiver’s had big years this season! Out of all the great receivers this year, I think that Steve smith did the best out of all of them! Leading his team to the playoff’s, Smith had 78 receptions for 1,421 yards and 6 touchdowns catches. He did amazing, going up and catching ever pass the the quarterback threw up for him. He helped the Panthers get into the playoffs, barely dropping any passes! He is a great receiver, and had a big season this year. This is why he is my choice for the top wide receiver of the year!
Top Defensive player of the year?
Wow, many defensive player’s had big games this year, even big season’s! Ever defensive player in the NFL seemed to have a great season this year! But, Ed Reed had the best season out of anybody! He had an amazing season, leading the Ravens to the wild card playoff’s. After playing the wild card game against the Dolphin’s, Ed Reed led the Ravens to another victory, taking them to the second round of the playoff’s! In the game he had two of the four interceptions that the Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington threw, taking one of them back for 6! Every pass that came his way either got knocked down or intercepted. He led the Raven’s to a big win over the Dolphin’s. Clearly, Ed Reed was the best defensive player of the year!
