The New York Giants are falling apart with there 4th straight loss. There team is falling apart, not a good idea right before the playoffs.

There are numerous reasons for this happening. First of all, Manning can’t use his great passing skills, because his o’line can’t block anyone. He never has enough time to get the ball off, without someone in his face, or knocking him to the ground. There has to be many improvements to the line if this team wants any shot at winning the super bowl, or even making it to the playoffs.

Also, this team clearly has no play-makers. There halfback is actually one of there better players, but can’t do anything because he never has any holes to run the ball through. The opposing team is always getting penetration, and completely shutting down the run game. So, when your run game isn’t working, most likely your pass game isn’t working. Everything that is causing this team to do bad leads back to there o’line. They have to find a way to atleast get in front of someone and stop them from getting to the quarterback.

Maybee if the Giants can find a way to fix there line, they could end up finishing the season making it to the playoffs. The line is shutting down everything, causing the team to have to depend on there defense. You can’t have and NFL football team, and have to depend on only one side of your team to do something. Clearly the Giants are going to have to figure this out or there season is over.

New Orleans Saints football has changed alot in the last couple of years. Only this season, it has changed “big time”. Having great veteran quarterback Drew Brees, the Saints have one of the best pass offenses in the league. Brew Brees is leading the NFL in passing touchdowns. They also have a couple of great halfbacks. All-though they are having a great season, this week they may be challenged with there greatest competitor yet.

The Saints will square off against the Pat’s this week who are also having a great season. Having great halfback Fred Taylor coming back, they will be a tuff team to play. Tom Brady is also having a great season, throwing for 6 touchdowns in one game this season. Now they won’t only be able to pass the ball, but to run the ball also.

Not only do the Saints have an awsome offense, but also the best defense in the league by far. They get numerous of fantasy points each weak. I do not think that Tom Brady has faced a defense like this all year. I guess we will see how he holds up, when the game comes around.

So, do you think the Saints “D” will pull them thru for another win, or will the Pats explosive offense run straight over them?

Having one of his best season’s yet, Ben Roethlisberger is definatley a top fantasy pick this season. Last week, Ben suffered a concussion. While Playing the Cheifs, he ran it up the middle and got a knee to the head. This shocked the whole stadium. All-though Ben has got hurt many times before, everybody was still scared.

Roethlisberger has practiced all week with the team, but may still sit this one out. With the Steelers having an o.k. season, coach Mike Tomlin don’t want to risk anything, and accidentaly throw away the season. With out Ben playing, it will hurt the chance of the Steelers pulling of a win against the Ravens. Baltimore is also having a great season, coming off a close game last week against the Colts.

Clearly Ben may be able to play, but coaches don’t want to risk getting him hurt again. This may be a big game, but protecting your star quarterback is more important then risking the whole season for one dumb mistake. As I said before, he may start and is listed a probable but I would recomend finding someone else for the week.

After starting off the season opener with a win, and upsetting the Patriots the team to beat is the Jets! Having rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez really improves the team in many ways. The Jets have many great wr’s and backs. With all these threats, they could go all the way.

Beating the Pat’s was a big victory for the Jets. The Pat’s, being one of the best teams in the NFL every year, are a big competition for any team. The Jets defense allowed very few points, and prevented Brady from throwing for numerous yards/td’s.

All in all, the Jets overall played great in this game. They have a good chance to do great things this year. All though it is very early in the year and many things can change, I see the Jet’s in the super bowl this season.

There has been only a few details released so far, but police have said there is a female victim found with him as well. Speculaiton on ESPN and other news outlets is that this may be a robbery gone bad, or a drug related crime.

McNair started his career as a #1 draft pick by the Tennessee Titan and led them to the Super Bowl. Most recently he was the QB for the Raven’s. He had a tough time since his early days in the NFL, but was set for a comeback this year.

There are many great rookie’s going into the NFL this year. All though there are many great players, a few stand out over everyone else. Jason Smith , top line men in the draft, and Mathew Stafford, the top quarterback.

First of all, Jason Smith is arguably the best line men in the draft. It’s not a choice that many fans would go for, but is most likely the least riskey. He is a hardworking individual, and very strong. Nobody know’s who the Lion’s are looking at, but he is most likely one of the candidates. Even though many people think this is a bad choice, the Dolphins went to the playoffs after drafting a linemen to protect there average quarterback. So this could be a smart choice to draft a linemen for the #1 pick.

On the other hand, Mathew Stafford is a great rookie quarterback. He is also most likely one of the candidates for the pick. He is very smart and has a great arm. He came from a pro-style offense, so he will make the transition from college to NFL easier then most quarterbacks do. Also, he did have a great halfback, therefor he may not be the star we all think he is. Sometimes he didn’t really make the decisions he should have, when he got under pressure.

So, you can think what you want, but the Lion’s are making a great choice if they pick one of these players. They could definatley have an impact on the future of this team.

On Saturday, Cutler was a no-show at a fundraiser at Invesco Field, and team spokesman Patrick Smyth said the quarterback didn’t attend because he didn’t want to distract from the evening. The fundraiser was in honor of Broncos longtime trainer Steve Antonopulos and raised money to fight children’s’ diseases.

After two season’s of not doing so great, they did not have the money or the right to keep him.

All though Holt was one of the better wide out’s in the NFL for a while, he started slacking off a little after ten seasons with the Rams. Last season, he only had 64 catches for 796 yards and 3 thouchdown receptions. That is not good for any wide receiver in the NFL.

After releasing him, the Rams freed almost 8 million dollars worth of cap space. They are trying to rebuild there team with young, smart people that will lead them to a great future. Still, the decission to release Holt wasn’t easy. He had many great years in St. Louis, and helped lead them to the super bowl.

So, will this be the end of his career, or will he come back and play for a different team. He is out there, but is anyone willing to pick him up?

T.O. has officially signed with the Buffalo Bills. This is the most exciting, and unexpected thing that has happened in the NFL off-season this year.It will take a while for T.O. to adjust to the Bills team, but when he does, he will amazingly improve the team. First of all, the Bills haven’t had this great of a wide receiver in a long time. All though T.O. is getting old, he is still one of NFL’s greatest wide receiver’s yet.No one can beleive that this has happened, but it did. The only thing is, will it work out. Owens has had troubles with many teams in the past, and I don’t really think this one will be any different. Either Owens will have to act better, and respect his team-mates, or he will end up being cut again.
