Ben Roethlisberger’s concussion
December 31, 2008
Ben’s concussion was mild, he was back on the practice field two days after it happened. He didn’t take and snaps or throw any passes, and he probably won’t until he pass the test that the Steelers require of players who have undergone a concussion.
After reading the report, Ben’s concussion is mild. Coach Mike Tomlin has not ruled Ben out from practicing all week yet. Ben will most likely start in the Steelers first playoff game next weekend.
Coach Tomlin said there was no reason to rush Ben back into playing. He said Ben needs time to hill, and that he will practice again when he is better. He will not be able to play until he passes the test. The test makes sure that he still remembers the play’s, and didn’t forget anything.
